Today I went to Sean's last parent teacher conference for the year. So, now I get to brag about him. In his assessment tests he scored 92nd Percentile in motor skills, 94th percentile in math concepts and >99th percentile in literacy (It was a perfect score 27/27!). Overall, he ranked in the 99th percentile. Also, he's been invited to attend a summer math and science enrichment program. The invitation said it was for students who "demonstrated exceptional skills in academics and social development." Only 7 percent of the kids at his pre-school were invited. He's very excited about it. This pleases me so much. It won't be long before he doesn't consider an extra three weeks of school to be a huge honor. :)
It can't be that long ago that I was holding my sweetest, baldest little baby thinking how nice it was to have a child who would snuggle with me. We're so proud of you, Sean!
I'll post pictures of his pre-school graduation after the ceremony on Friday...
Sean, my boy. I am so happy for you. You look so perfect in your cap and gown. I am the proudest Grandma ever. Congratualtions on your very special invitation. Keep up the good work.
